WWF Climate Action

Impact Hub and WWF have led global programmes promoting sustainable entrepreneurship with a strong commitment to environmental impact.

For more than a decade, Impact Hub and WWF have joined forces to jointly run 40 programmes focusing on environmental impact and sustainable entrepreneurship across our global networks.

Pioneering a better tomorrow

At Impact Hub, we foster a global network of 100+ communities united by an unwavering commitment to a better future. Our mission empowers visionary entrepreneurs, fosters cross-sector collaboration, and advances a future with net-zero emissions and a regenerative environment.

In partnership with WWF, we’ve developed tools and programmes supporting impact entrepreneurs dedicated to enhancing food systems, transitioning to renewable infrastructures, and championing circularity in industrial processes. Together, we work for a brighter, sustainable future.

Scaling sustainable impact

In a world where vital sustainability goals, such as the Paris Climate Accord’s 1.5°C target and the Sustainable Development Goals, often appear distant, collaborative scaling is at the core of our strategy. Achieving sustainability within planetary boundaries demands a profound transformation, uniting diverse individuals and organisations under a common dedication to our planet’s future. That’s why we rely on our global network of Impact Makers to exchange knowledge and cultivate innovative ideas, redefining what’s possible as we forge a just and sustainable world.

Collaborative climate action

Leveraging the expertise and influence of our vast network, we actively engage in collaborative initiatives with local, regional, and global strategic partners. Through dynamic campaigns, programmes, and resource-sharing: we amplify our collective impact, nurturing innovative solutions and impactful initiatives

Goal 1

Towards a circular economy

Accelerate the transition to a circular economy that respects planetary boundaries.

Goal 2

Food & agriculture

Transform our food systems to achieve healthy people and a healthy planet.

Goal 3

Reaching net zero

Bring emissions to zero by 2050 to stay within the remaining carbon budget and limit global warming.

Integrating sustainability and inclusion

All our environmental initiatives align with sustainable and equitable principles, rooted in a steadfast commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as core values.

For example, Impact Hub London empowers underserved entrepreneurs through programmes like Feeding the City Startup. Impact Hub Medellin supports women entrepreneurs in agriculture through the Emprender Mujer awards and workshops. Impact Hub Phnom Penh’s SAAMBAT Digital Agriculture Accelerator accelerates businesses targeting vulnerable populations.

These initiatives exemplify our dedication to DEI, promoting social and environmental impact for a more equitable future. Explore our blog for more inspiring stories!
