An international network of 1,000 women entrepreneurs embarking on a 12-week entrepreneurship programme to develop skills and unlock their business potential.

DNA of the breakers
The Break is an entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme in Spain for EU resident women worth +7,000 €. The Fellowship is funded by the European Union designed by Escuela de Organización Industrial EOI School and powered by The Break Alliance (comprising Impact Hub, Mentor Day, and Startup ST).
1,000 female entrepreneurs and freelancers will embark on a transformational journey: a 12-week entrepreneurship programme, including a 27-day work retreat in Spain.
The Break aims to contribute to three objectives: (I) reducing the gender gap in entrepreneurship; (II) the improvement of participating entrepreneurs’ projects and their contribution to solving local challenges; and (iii) the creation of a European network of female entrepreneurs – the Breaker community – aimed at generating business opportunities.
Three pillars of success
Accelaration: The programme offers a customised training journey aimed at fostering innovation and sustainability in businesses. This journey includes workshops, mentoring sessions, and peer validation.
Collaboration: Fellows will have the opportunity to expand their networks and reap the benefits of a diverse community. The programme aspires to bring together 1,000 women representing over 50 nationalities from across the European Union.
Local development: During their stay in Spain, fellows and their colleagues will actively engage in open innovation activities geared towards addressing local challenges.

"I am a mature entrepreneur but I enjoyed all ideas provided in the programme. I grew up because I saw all other fellows as mirrors for myself and a chance to grow. Everyone is taking from this what they need. I cannot recommend enough to participate in The Break. It was a life changing experience. "
