Our environmental efforts centre around the concept of a just transition, ensuring that we don’t leave anyone behind as we move towards sustainability. This means considering the social impact of our actions and catering to the diverse needs of our communities.

How are we integrating sustainability and inclusion?

    1. Empowering local entrepreneurs
Impact Hub London supports entrepreneurs from minor ethnic backgrounds and underserved communities to design solutions for social and environmental impact in their community (Feeding the City & New Roots).
Impact Hub Medellin supports women entrepreneurs primarily from the agriculture and food sectors to make their enterprises visible via Emprender Mujer awards and enable their development through a series of business capacity-building workshops.

    2. Accelerating businesses for vulnerable groups
Impact Hub Phnom Penh runs SAAMBAT Digital Agriculture Accelerator for startups aiming to improve the lives of smallholder farmers and rural youth through technological advancements in agriculture.

    3. Supporting climate justice movements
Impact Hub Athens provided connections and capacity-building to a climate justice movement in Greece (THE UNDRILLABLES).
Impact Hub Zurich runs public dialogues on just transition in climate.

Our collaboration emphasises that those most impacted by climate change should have a say in shaping our future. By empowering minority entrepreneurs, accelerating impactful businesses, and supporting climate justice movements, we’re striving for equity in opportunities within a sustainable economy.

We recognise the interconnected challenges of climate change, food security, and inclusion. That’s why we’re committed to reducing inequalities in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Impact Hub actively works towards making entrepreneurship accessible to underrepresented groups, including women, migrants/refugees, people with disabilities, youth, seniors, and low-income entrepreneurs.

As we tackle the challenges of our time, we’re dedicated to building a more inclusive and sustainable world for everyone.
