Roots of Circularity Nepal is an innovative educational programme designed to build a dynamic and engaging ecosystem for the Circular Economy in Nepal. In partnership with Impact Hub Association, Impact Hub Kathmandu, and Wildlife Conservation Nepal, this initiative aims to drive lasting change by inspiring key sectors to adopt sustainable practices.
Running from 2023 to 2027, the programme focuses on four strategic intervention areas, using a variety of methodologies to integrate stakeholders and form a strong Circular Alliance. This alliance will empower and educate sectors across Nepal to embrace Circular Economy principles, helping to transform the way goods and services are produced and consumed.
Through its efforts, Roots of Circularity Nepal seeks to meet the growing demand for circular products and business models, acting as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth, environmental consciousness, and the development of a resilient business ecosystem in the country.
Our key intervention points

Education
We empower incubators, entrepreneurs, teachers, students, and the Nepali community with sustainable knowledge through targeted education. By facilitating the transfer of circular economy principles, we aim to build a foundation for a more sustainable future.
Entrepreneurship
We foster entrepreneurship by equipping incubators, entrepreneurs, and the broader Nepali community with insights into the Circular Economy. Our goal is to promote the adoption of sustainable business practices that can drive long-term economic and environmental impact.
Policy
We are creating a dynamic alliance between key policy stakeholders, bridging the gap between civil society, the private sector, and policymakers. The Nepal Circularity Alliance will play a pivotal role in advancing Circular Economy policies at local, provincial, and federal levels, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive ecosystem for sustainable development.
Media
We raise public awareness through social media and other communication channels by engaging public authorities, media outlets, civil society organisations, and MSMEs. Our focus is to spotlight the critical shift towards a conscious ecosystem based on Circular Economy principles, underscoring the social, economic, and environmental benefits of preservation and sustainability.
