Based in Bangkok with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region, MacKenzie supports the Impact Hub Network in translocal programme development, fundraising, and partnerships. She co-designs systems-oriented initiatives grounded in inclusion, justice, and regenerative principles, with particular emphasis on disability and circularity. Her earlier career explored the science–policy interface, human–wildlife coexistence, and migration. In her work and life, she engages with political ecology, feminist and decolonial thought, and post-growth economic paradigms of mutualism, care, and regeneration. She spends her free time recharging in the jungles of Western Thailand and is the caretaker of a rescued ball python named Snickers.
